Teacher In-Service

Today was a holiday for the kids at the Summer Home School.  The teacher had to go to the grocery store and make it to a meeting this morning, so the children had the day off.  Plus, the teacher had a busy weekend and did not have a chance to design quality instruction.  The children seemed happy to accompany the teacher to the grocery store (where they talked her into purchasing some M&M cookies from the bakery) and to watch The Incredibles and play with trains.  The teacher has also managed to fold the laundry and plans to vacuum the floor before the afternoon is over.
