We didn't really know it was solvable, but PJ has been waking up at 5:30 on the dot every morning for the past 10 days...and that, combined with LJ's waking up and talking to himself, has made me and RJ a bit cranky. RJ would go in PJ's room and his white noise sounds would be off, so he'd turn them back on and PJ would go back to sleep (sometimes) for 15 minutes to an hour. 2 nights ago, RJ said he thought he heard a loud beeping sound before PJ cried out, so after some investigation I determined there was an alarm of some sort on...and I pushed some sequence of buttons to make a little bell on the display go away. Yesterday, PJ slept until 6:15 and this morning he slept until 6:30 - I, however, have been waking up at 5:40, so it will take me a bit longer to un-adjust from waking up at 5:30, but we are pleased!
We had a lovely visit from the S family over the weekend. LJ *loved* playing with his cousins, S, L, and C...they swam in the pool with him for 2 hours and he was in Heaven with the attention his "sisters" were showing him. Amazingly, LJ was on his best behaviour and was nothing short of a lovable and happy 3 year old boy. We are secretly hoping S and L will have loved their campus tour so much that they will come to school here in next fall...we would LOVE to have the chance to get to know them better!
